Big Beautiful World 8 -- Autumn in Lake Placid, NY

I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating, and tell all your friends to pass it along: It’s a big, beautiful world out there. Let’s stop trying to screw it up. What do you say? When I was in Lake Placid, it was October. The weather was kind of grey and cold and drizzly...much like it is today, here in my little corner of central PA. But just because it's grey and drizzly doesn't mean there isn't beauty to be found. It certainly helps when there's an absolutely enormous lake surrounded by explosively colored fall foliage, and mist curling around the tops of the mountains. Also, check out that house with the full bank of windows facing the lake. #LifestyleGoals, for real.
