Big Beautiful World 39 - Through the Window, Rocky Neck, Gloucester, MA

It’s a big, beautiful world out there. Please enjoy it responsibly. There's a little peninsula sticking out into the harbor at Gloucester, MA, that has operated for decades as a groovy little art colony. The artsy part of Rocky Neck is super-picturesque, but it is an area surrounded by water, and by default ocean and harborside structures are subject to the forces of nature. One dock in particular was in terrible disrepair, and there was a ton of heavy equipment and building supplies and activity in use. Construction was taking place everywhere. Here is one building. Slightly torn up and weathered as all get-out, but with a nice new screen in place. The Atlantic may show its power when the storms rise, but people rebuild. We always do.
