It’s a big, beautiful world out there, but maybe we can stop screwing it up?

It's been really hard for me to find things that are beautiful, lately, and by lately I mean for the last several years, even though this is the time when we desperately need it.

So. Even though there's still a shitload of unrest, and yet another attempted coup in the world, and an enormous cloud of misinformation and disinformation it will take years to undo...

Here are some cardinals in the snow, taken today in my own back yard. Yes, it's a big beautiful world, but where you look for beauty can be very small, indeed.

I don't know if this makes things all better, but it certainly can't hurt.
