Weekly Photo Challenge: Dreaming

When your vacation rains on you, appreciate what's beautiful about that.So what if it rained for nearly the entire week we were in the Finger Lakes?  It was beautiful regardless.  I got a lot of reading done.  I got a lot of writing done.  My boyfriend played a lot of guitar.  We hired a car and went on a wine tour  And I took the opportunities, when they presented themselves, to wander down onto our dock and enjoy just how lovely our surroundings were, whether seen in rain or shine. We also got a ton of fog.  The liminal quality of fog (I've written about it before here) inherently imparts a dreamlike quality to its surroundings; when you remember your dreams are they ever in anything but soft focus?  Except for maybe dreams about vampires.  Those are always crystal clear.  Or is that just me?Anyway.  Welcome to Dreamland.  What does this make you think of?

You can see the rest of the photo challenge here, and I've also included some of my favorites entries from this week.
