Herein lies another moment of worship toward the beautiful beach rose. I’m shameless in how much and how quickly I came to adore these flowers, but it’s easy to fall in love with your surroundings when they are gorgeous. While walking the Cliff Walk in Newport, I stopped to take a picture of the sun and the flowers and the ocean another early riser–a man out for a walk with his dog–nodded and said, “It’s pretty spectacular, isn’t it?” Indeed it is, sir.
