Photo A Day: Please Bloom For Me, January 17, 2017

In honor of getting a new camera and needing a reason to play with it…welcome to my Photo A Day! Topic: Whatever strikes my fancy. Frequency: Daily. I hope.Today is a dreadfully dreary, cold, grey day in central Pennsylvania. So I keep looking at my little mug full of flower bulbs--thoughtfully put together for me by my sister--and hoping that *poof*, one of these flower stems will suddenly grow another couple of inches, then bud, and with great and joyful color, burst into a shower of grape hyacinths.I know it will take a little more work that just hope. And George and I have had great luck with forced blooms in past winters, so I have every reason to believe this will go according to plan. It would just be nice to have a flower in my house, on a day like today. It would also be nice to have a million dollars, but I'm not betting on that either. Hashtag wishing. :)
